A short Posting
I dreamt of Mylee last night. I havent cried over her in a while, but I find myself missing her today. It is really amazing how an animal can come into your life for such a short time and take such a huge part of your heart when they leave.

Lily Cathryn Hamel
Tomorrow is Lily's Birthday so this post is dedicated to her......Lily's pregnancy was very easy, but very difficult at the same time. Oh I felt fine with her physically, but emotionally I was a mess. I was going through a divorce while being pregnant. Again, I never ever would have made it without my family and most importantly Danielle. They all gave me a reason to get up every day and move forward.
The day before she was born, my cousin/sister took me out to see the Notebook. Tracy and I cried our eyes out and then got cold stone ice cream. I felt some contractions, but nothing too uncomfortable. Well 2 big ones woke me up in the middle of the night not painful but enough for me to call my OB in the morning. She told me to come in the office. Now, I was BARELY 37 weeks, but I was not worried because I knew she was going to come early. Anyways I went to see my Doctor and after an exam shes said pack your bags your are going to Labor and Delivery!! My brother Kenny was living with me at the time and took me home to get my stuff and off we went. We made all the calls to the family, got admitted and waited. While we were waiting this woman in the room next me let out a blood curdling scream and Kenny looked at me like he was scared out of his mind for me. I wasn't too worried since I had done this before.
We didn't have to wait too long for Lily to arrive only about 5 1/2 hrs. Lily Cathryn was born at 5:58 p.m. weighing in at 5 pounds 15 ounces. She was so perfect. I never knew that my heart could grow so big! She was just as perfect as Danielle being the most wonderful baby a parent could ask for. Danielle helped me so much during the first few months. Lily was a real live doll to her and we were so happy. We all slept in the same bed together and enjoyed Lily finally being with us. Here of course are some photos:
Lily, you came into my life when times were dark. You brightened up my world. You are the princess and your sister and I adore you. You have such a caring and loving heart. Your sense of humor gives your sister and I so much joy. I can't wait to see what great things you will accomplish in life. I am so proud to be your mommy.
