A couple of my blogging buddies have posted some "I remembers" and I would like to copy them.
-I remember being 3 years old and my new brother coming home from the hospital and feeling the stab of jealousy because I was not the center of attention any more.
-I remember being 4 years old late at night talking to my brother Kenny, and trying to teach him how to talk.
-I remember playing for hours with Kenny and Kyle in the backyard. Playing on our jungle gym and the dogs running around us.
-I remember my horse backriding days. Getting up at the crack of dawn to just hang out at the barn all day. The smell of leather and horse...The complete and utter joy I had whenever I was riding. My sadness when I was told I was unable to ride anymore that it was just too expensive. My bitterness towards my third brother for taking my joy away. The guilt for even feeling that, and my overwhelming love for him as the years went by.
-Vacations with my family. Always full of drama but the best memories I have are of them.
-I remember the day that Kailey was born. How beautiful she was and how happy I was to have a sister finally!
-I remember all my days of Biola Youth Arts. How I thought I was so freaking cool to perform on stage.
-I remember the day I found out I was pregnant with Danielle.
-I remember the day I found out I was pregnant with Lily
-I remember the day I knew that I was getting divorced and what a failure I thought I was.
-I remember that I while I was getting divorced I found out how strong I was.
- I remember when Kenny moved in with me for a summer and it was one of the best summers of my life.
- I remember the day I met Matty for the first time and I thought he was an arrogant asshole. I was so wrong about that one!
- I remember the day Matty brought home Mylee after we had lost Sandee
-I remember picking out Jacks from the Shepherd rescue and how it wasnt really us picking him out but him choosing Mylee.
-I remember the day Matty proposed
-I remember my wedding day to Matt.
- I remember the day Mylee left us.
- I remember the day Brady was born.
I am looking forward to make many more memories!
